As a travel company, the planet is our resources capital. Its social and environmental welfare is fundamentally important to us – not just as a business, but as human beings too. That is why we like to take care of our planet.

In Vietnam, green travel is more than just a buzzword - it is a way of life. Home to nearly 5% of the world’s biodiversity, this small nation takes its birthright seriously: nearly 30% of Vietnam is protected with greenary nature. And that’s not all: Vietnam has enacted many policies and programs to protect the environment, from clean-beach programs to harvesting sustainable energies. This is why we, as a travel company, want to support this, as Vietnam is our beloved travel destination.

We are proud that we stand for sustainable tourism and are a Travelife Certified business with
excellence in sustainability. We earned the certificate in adapting to the international Travelife Standards for travel companies.
Our concrete action:

Accommodation: We only work with accommodations that follow eco-friendly policies
​
Transportation: It is hard to avoid transportation when travelling. Even the greatest hikers and bikers need to take the plane to Vietnam. But we still can go green. In fact, there is a greener version of every kind of transportation into and around Vietnam. There are eco-friendly airlines existing and we just fly with those. Going around in Vietnam, we can definitely go green. We avoid flying within the country, we use busses and local transportations

Tours and Activities: We only work with local people and owners, mostly small businesses to support them. We choose activities that require little or no fossil fuel (biking, kayaking, hiking etc.)

Restaurants: We eat locally. With our guests we only visit restaurants owned and staffed by Vietnamese
​
Waste: We always remove our trash and make sure to offer our tourists enough possibilities to do so
​
Souvenirs: We don't allow our guests to collect souvenirs: by law, Vietnam prohibits the removal of shells and other natural products. Instead of collecting own souvenirs, our tourists buy local, handmade products

Office: In our office we print only the most necessary things, and if we have to, we do it on recycling paper

Motivation: We positively motivate our customers to make more sustainable choices during their holidays
Here are some tips for you in order to help us and the environment:
Reduce waste. Whenever possible, recycle and reuse products. Bring a durable water bottle and rechargeable batteries. Try to cut down on packaged materials. Save electricity at your bungalow by reusing towels, turning off lights and shutting down the air conditioner when you leave the room.
Go local. Support local businesses rather than international chains. Buy souvenirs from small vendors, dine at local restaurants.
Respect culture. Show consideration for the traditions and customs of a region. Learn about what behavior is acceptable and what is not. Learn a few phrases in Vietnamses and dress appropriately. Ask people before taking their photo.
Practice environmentalism. Don’t litter, disturb wildlife or hike off the trail.
Give back. Learn about ways that you can help the areas you visit. You might plant trees, clean up beaches or volunteer at a local school.
